Linogy Warranty Policy – Europe

Linogy provides a 24-month limited warranty from the delivery date for products bought on eu.linogy.com. We will, at our discretion, replace the product or issue a full refund for verified quality-related defects (return shipping covered).

Purchases made through Amazon or other authorized retailers: please get in touch with the retailer directly for warranty service.

What is covered

Defects in materials or workmanship under regular use.

What is not covered (exclusions)

This commercial warranty does not apply to, and Linogy is not responsible for, any damage, defect or performance issue caused in whole or in part by:

1. Lack of valid proof of purchase
No order confirmation, receipt or other reliable proof showing purchase date, product model and seller.

2. Normal wear and tear
- Gradual capacity loss of rechargeable batteries over time and charge cycles;
- Reasonable cosmetic wear, scratches, or discoloration that do not affect function.

3. Misuse, improper use or installation, including but not limited to:
- Using batteries or chargers outside their specified voltage, current or temperature ranges;
- Short-circuiting, puncturing, crushing, disassembling or opening the cell or charger casing; 
- Using the Product with incompatible or non-approved devices, chargers or accessories;
- Incorrect polarity insertion, reverse charging, or bypassing safety protections;
- Exposing Products to liquids, immersion, corrosive environments, high humidity or condensation;
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, fire, direct heat sources or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

4. Physical damage, accidents or external events
- Drops, impacts, bending, crushing, transportation damage after initial delivery;
- Fire, flood, lightning, power surges, or other force majeure events.

5. Unauthorised modifications or repairs
- Any repair, modification, soldering, re-celling or opening of the Product by you or third parties not authorised by Linogy;
- Removing or altering serial numbers, labels, safety markings or regulatory symbols.

6. Use contrary to instructions or safety guidelines
- Failure to follow the instructions in the user manual, safety notices or battery safety page;
- Use of the Product for purposes other than those reasonably intended (e.g., using consumer cells for industrial/high-current applications they are not designed for).

7. Products not purchased through authorised channels
- Products purchased from sellers who are not authorised Linogy resellers;
- Counterfeit products, or products incorrectly labelled as Linogy.

8. Free items, gifts, and consumables
- Free promotional items, bonus gifts, or sample packs;
- Packaging, printed materials, and other consumables that do not affect the function of the Product, except if defective on first use.

If a Product is returned and testing shows no fault or shows that the defect falls under the exclusions above, the claim may be rejected, and you may be asked to cover inspection and shipping costs where this is permitted by local law.

How to Make a Claim

Contact support@linogy.com with order proof and a short video/photo showing the issue. We may provide troubleshooting first. Approved claims receive a replacement or refund. Replacement products carry the remaining warranty of the original item.

If you require a warranty, you will need to cover the shipping cost to return the item back to us and Linogy will be responsible for the shipping cost when the item is sent back to you and all repair fee.

We aim to process warranty claims within a reasonable time. Some delays may occur due to logistics or parts availability, but we will keep you informed.

Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linogy is not liable for indireect or consequential damages.This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have otherrights that vary by state/country.This warranty does not affect your legal rights in accordance withthe laws and provisions of yourcountry or region. The terms specified in this warranty should bee executed to the extent permitted bythe laws of your country or region. When the warranty period of tthis policy is not sufficient to coverthe scope of the law in your country or region, your local laws shall prevail.
